"I loved the saddle from the first time I sat on it. My first ride on it was 80 miles; I don’t think I'd have tried that with any other saddle. Whether you jam the nose, or sit further back in the saddle, the V-Flow is comfortable. There is no "sweet spot" on the VFlow, because it's comfortable no matter where you sit."

Hi John

Thank you for your kind email and the saddles you sent me.  I just arrived
back in LA today and they were a nice surprise.

I was very pleased with yesterday's performance.  I had a good swim but
rode the strongest ever.  It was a dead flat course, but with a strong
head wind the whole way.  One of those winds that seem to follow you which
ever way you turned.  So being forward on my seat and low on my bars was
essential.  It is definately the comfort of the seat that allows me to get
in such a great/strong position. I put over two minutes into the other
girls on the bike so I was stoked.  It was a tough day as the temperature
on the run got up to 100 degrees what with the humidity. But I held on and
even extended my lead so I was very pleased.  It was one of those races
you cherish.

Thank you again for your support and have a good week.

Regards

Sam

I didn't know if there was a place to write a testimonial or not in regards to a cobb V flow plus saddle or not. if there is hopefully you can use this, if not that's fine also, just know that what you have designed is helping people enjoy cycling much more!

I have been cycling now for just under a year and in that time the one thing that has always frustrated me was there were no cut and dry answers for saddle choice. I have tried several saddles, all of which were very painful. My last saddle which I had thought would be the answer ended up being my worst nightmare. The Sele Italia max flite gel seat with the cut out started off ok, but it was still a bit painful. I was told that a new saddle just takes time to break in and my sit bones just needed to get used to riding, so I figured it was a part of the break in process. I finished my first century ride 3 months ago which led me to the conclusion that I was also finished with my saddle. I literally had sores and abrasions and my sit bones were beyond sore, it was pure pain. I chose not to ride for several weeks scared of what I would face if I did. My riding buddy send me a link to Cobb cycling and told me to check it out. I did and I have to be honest, my first reaction wasn't so positive. I didn't care for the different shape of it and immediately closed the link and continued searching for something that was a bit more traditional. Well a couple days went by and I kept finding myself coming back to the site and reading more about what Cobb saddles had to offer. In that time my mind started to shift a bit more towards it as I saw all the benefits. I called 9 of the Cobb distributors and asked them what they thought about the saddle and all 9 of the stores had told me positive feedback, not one negative! At this point I was still a little apprehensive because not many people in the northwest had heard of it but I figured there was the amazing 6 month comfort guarantee and really had nothing to loose and everything to gain. I ordered the V Flow Plus and mounted it up as soon as I received it. I watched the DVD that came with the saddle along with the included measuring tape to give me the best saddle height. I took it out and immediately felt that I needed to make some changes. After several test rides around my block and adjustments I finally found a position that felt good. Since then I have gone on three 50+ mile rides and I have to say, riding with a saddle that allows you to be comfortable while riding which in turn lets you ride longer and further is such a turning point. I have yet to have any issues after my rides and I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for not only designing a saddle that a wide variety of sizes and body shapes can use but for your passion in the sport to want to help people enjoy cycling to the fullest!

Good morning John,

I just wanted to share my experience with the new V-Flow Max & Installation.

I installed the seat as your instructions directed me and I also verified my setup with the video online. I triple checked my measurements as I ended up dropping my seat roughly 1.5 inches. My old cervelo seat height was setup my local dealer, so I will be honest I was surprised when I had to drop it  so much lower. You and your team are the best in the business so I thought I would try it and the adjustments made a HUGE difference. I was able to stay in my aero bars 98% of my ride yesterday (75k) and my legs felt great once I finished. I have a little stiffness in my glutes, but that is in the right spot.  Usually when I do that length of ride I will be in aero for 50-60% of the time and my legs are kind of wiped.

The new seat combined with the seat height really made a difference. It really gives me more confidence in my races this summer and my first Ironman distance in late August. The seat is working excellent so far, but more importantly your online video / instructions really helped me out.

A training mate of mine raved about your seat (same seat) and he was spot on. We are working on our third training partner and we will be your “unofficial..Team Cobb”  representation at Ironman Canada.

I am not an elite athlete, but your seat and fitting experience will make a big difference for me.

Thanks,
Todd

I told the local tri shop they should carry your products !!!

Hey John.  I just wanted to shoot you a quick note to say thank you.  The saddle that you sent me has done exactly what we wanted it to do.  I am able to ride the bike steep, and hold the position.  The fact that there is no discomfort, is just a bonusJ  I am waving the flag for you as hard as I can.

Good Morning Mr. Cobb,
I just wanted to say thank your for helping me fit my bike. I love the new positioning and Id like to tell you something.  My first race with the new bike fit was so awesome, that I won my age group! 1st place in gateway to the bay triathlon. Not to mention first in the bike as well.  I also do those stretches and hip flex lifts. The ones you showed me. I will keep you up to date with my wins this year and will hope to see you soon with my new cervelo p3.  Have a great day!
